1W3 – Week Reflection and research

Our study program is progressing well.I am going to have my first private tutorial on the 3rd of October.I have submitted my research on the discussion board.I have included some key web pages that will affect my proposal.Ofcourse the research is still in progress so more research topics will be included.I will focus at the ones suggested so i am not lost on the way.The Byzantine Art, literature and architecture will be the first topic to research.Art and politics is also another research field that has common bonds with the Byzantine theme.

Politics affect our lives and the history changes our world.The fall of Constantinople in 1453 marked the end of the Byzantine Empire and the beginning of the Ottoman empire.It was a great turn in the history of Greece.Greeks remained under the Ottoman yoke for nearly 400 years.The 25th March 1821 marks the beginning of the Greek revolution.The revolution finished in 1828 and the London Protocol issued in 1830, recognised Greece as an independent nation.

These days Global Geopolitical changes are changing the world.Geopolitical concerns relevant to Turkey are developments in Cyprus and the process of Turkey accession to the European Union.Future political developments in the region might lead to war or peace.Byzantine literature holds some mystic answers on the matter.

1W2-Week Reflection

 It was not a normal day today.My internet connection had a problem so i had to come to an internet cafe.I was finishing my post and it was ready to upload.Something was wrong and i lost my text.The technician called me so i had to go home and write my text when the fault would be fixed.
My internet problem maybe will be fixed tomorrow.I am writing this post again in the internet cafe.I am writing in notepad and will paste later.I can’t make the same mistake again!

Week Reflection

The second week as a MADA online student has passed!I am excited.Me, fellow students and teachers had our weekly conversation.Many issues were raised last Tuesday.One issue was the PGPD.We don’t have to worry a lot at this stage about it.There are some recorded lectures that we should watch though.
Internet sometimes seems to be fragile but can bring us together, share our thoughts and inspire each other.I had the opportunity to know the proposals of my fellow students.We may walk on different paths but we walk in parallel.We are in our computer territory-cell but through computers we can communicate.Written communication has many advantages .We have to construct our blogs in the best way so that these would be helpfull for our fellow students and ourselves.I will put the links of my fellow students blogs on my blog.It was a great idea of Sean Clark.With other links presented on my blog we can work using one page.For the next week i will concentrate on the following issues.

• Planning my research

The research will be concentrated on the context presented in my project proposal.The research will follow each context title individually. 

• Software purchase issues

I have to make some research on purchasing certain software needed for my project.

1W1-Week Reflection

What is this blog: This blog is the part of my mind that will hold anything that has to do with my project.

What is my project:At the moment my project are ideas,many ideas that will form a structure.The structure has to be strong at the very beginning.I am working my mind with my ideas and soon i will present those ideas that will consist the skeleton of my project.Seeing the header photo of blog you may get a glimpse of what may follow!

What will happen at the end of this journey:At the end of this 2 year journey hopefully i will be a graduate of the University of the Arts London (Camberwell College-Master in Digital Arts-MADA).My project will be completed and i will be strong enough to sail for other journeys and live other adventures.

Blackboard Experiance:The journey begun.I got familiar with blackboard online and met my teachers and fellow students in the chatroom!I am interested in their work.Everybody have something different to show because everybody is different!Eveybody is unique!It will be interesting to share our thoughts because this way we can be better in our unique and special way!We can improve by research, helping each other and following the guidance of our teachers!

Week task 1:Setting up the blog:I am trying to get used to handle the tools for this site!I will soon be able to upload my site too.It is down at the moment but soon i will bring it up.I have sent some feedback regarding my last visit to a gallery.It is gallery-K in nicosia.Gallery-K is promoting Contemporary Greek Art in London too.You can take a look at its website:
