Assesment evidence

The assessment evidence materials were submitted on time. I have attached them as title pages on top of my blog. The interim report was the last paper for MADA2 and consists the prototype of my research too. The prototype for the final presenation is the following. It was created using Maya 6.5.

The user can enter the virtual templo designed, sit on the chair and login the internet and Secondlife. Using the Virtual Goggles the user can also enter the virtual chapel in second life and see the same digital and traditional icons. The user can enter the site http://www.proskinitari.com  and even get advice on how to receive a dvd with a short movie.

The proskinitari has taken its shape. I have to find a ready made or create a cross to fix on the top of theproskinitari

 

 

Last Saturday i visited the chapel of Saint Raphael in Ayii of Trimithia. I was surprised to see the monk – priest Nikolaos building a proskinitari near the chapel. I asked him to photograph him while he was building and explained him roughly my project and told him my news that unfortunately weren’t so good as the last time i saw him. He gave me his blessings and i was glad to see our proskinitaria being build the same time. The proskinitari near the chapel of Saint Raphael will be big enough for one person to enter and worship few icons. My proskinitari will keep inside an icon of the Saints Raphael, Nicolaos and Irene, a smaller one of Virgin Mary and Sain Philippos which is the nearest church to the park that i am building the proskinitari.

I had a tutorial with my tutor Andrew Stiff. He adviced me on how to submit my final assesment evidence for the second unit MADA2. I am trying now to update my blog so that we can close MADA 2 and proceed to MADA3.
